Bergen County Black Legislative Caucus (BCBLC) was created to serve and represent the interests of black families in Bergen County. The mission of the BCBLC is to serve as a medium to uplift the voice of the black community through leadership, empowerment, and engagement on common issues of concern. BCBLC will provide a forum for information exchange and networking in efforts to organize, engage, advocate, and elect committed individuals that support issues confronting black families in Bergen County.
The vision is to promote a progressive agenda that prioritizes legislation and political candidates that address the needs of black families in Bergen County, NJ.
The call to action for greater involvement in the legislative processes that impacts black families in Bergen County is loud and clear. We need to have each other’s back and help each other navigate the way towards decisions that will make life better for black families in Bergen County.
BCBLC puts social responsibility above all else with a focus on inclusivity. Our commitment is to our community in all aspects of our work. Communication is the foundation of our purpose.
